Mitravelas Estate is the oldest modern winery in Nemea. It is located in the center of the city of Nemea and was founded in 1913.

The Mitravelas Brothers initially started with the production of small quantities of bulk wine, but in 1945 Andrew Mitravelas took the lead and gradually increased the annual production. In more recent years, his son Konstantinos decided to take advantage of his father’s and his own longtime experience with viticulture and create two labels: “Mitravelas Estate” and “Red on Black.”

Both 100% estate, Red on Black showcases the primary, vibrant fruit characteristics of Agiorgitiko. ‘Estate’ is an expression of Agiorgitikos’ more serious side, aged in used barrel for 7 years.
